Mr. Clark, 89, of Long Branch, and a former Deal resident for more than 65 years, died June 28, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He retired in 1981 from Kroll Motors, Long Branch, after 50 years in the car sales business. Mr. Clark was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Deal, for more than 65 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia M. DeFrancisco Clark, in 1999. Mr. Clark is survived by a son, Gene W. Clark Jr. of Long Branch; a daughter, Pamela Noel Clark of Oceanport; and a grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. The Thompson Memorial Home, Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
