Post to host Memorial Day service May 31
EATONTOWN — American Legion Post 325 in Eatontown will hold Memorial Day services at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 31, at Veterans Memorial Park on Route 35.
The guest speaker is Col. Kent T. Woods, CECOM Life Cycle Management Command deputy commander for Operations, Plans and Base Realignment and Closure, Fort Monmouth.
Community organizations presenting wreaths include: Fort Monmouth, the borough of Eatontown, Gold Star Wives of America, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Eatontown, the Eatontown Police Department, Fire Department and First Aid, the Office of Emergency Management (Police Reserve), Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 2402, the Lions Club, Republican and Democratic clubs; St. Dorothea’s Knights of Columbus, the Women’s Club, and American Legion Post 325. The Memorial School band will perform musical selections.
The public is invited to join American Legion Post 325 in honoring those who answered the call of their country and made the ultimate sacrifice so that all might enjoy freedom.
