Lula V. Davis
      Mrs. Davis, 86, of Hazlet and formerly of Monmouth Beach, died March 9, 2010, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Methodist Church, Hazlet, and the Eastern Star of Long Branch, and a former member of the Keyport American Legion. Her husband, Ivan F. Davis Sr., died in 1997. Surviving are three sons, Ivan Davis Jr.

Joseph Johnson
      Mr. Johnson, 49, of Howell, died March 5, 2010. He grew up in Little Silver and was a former merchant mariner. Mr. Johnson worked as a boat captain for the Circle Line’s Statue of Liberty Ferry for more than 25 years. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Joanne Morgan Johnson; three sons, Brian J. Kevin D.
