Red Bank Catholic’s Molly McNmara capped her outstanding indoor track and field season by earning All- American honors at the Nike Indoor Nationals (NIN).

The junior finished fifth in the 800- meter run (2:13.37) at the NIN held in the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass., to win her AA certificate.

McNamara and her RBC teammates, competing as Runner’s High Running Club, finished ninth in the distance medley relay. Michelle Capossi, Lindsey Bellaran, Liana Marzano and McNamara clocked 12:16.02.

In the NIN boys 800 meters, RBC’s Kevin Byrne was 14th (1:54.80). Byrne won the NJSIAA Meet of Champions title last month.

At the National Scholastic Indoor Nationals, held at the New Balance Center Armory in New York City, two Christian Brothers Academy relay teams garnered All-American honors.

Running as Brothers Track Club, Mark Lee, Dan Mykityshyn, Rich Bohny and John McLaughlin took fifth in the distance medley relay (10:32.28).

In the 4x1-mile relay, Lee, Dan Bailey, Mike Mazzaccaro and Mykityshyn finished fourth (17:53.69).
