Robert H. Hoplock Mr. Hoplock of Eatontown, died Jan. 16, 2010, following a lengthy illness. He resided in Oceanport, prior to relocating to Eatontown in 1967. He was a crew chief at Public Service Electric & Gas, Central Division, Elizabeth, for 40 years, retiring in 1997. He was also employed at Norwood Distributors, Long Branch, for 20 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1134 for 40 years. He played semi-pro baseball at Warinanco Park, Roselle. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia C. Clemens; and a brother, Richard E. Hoplock. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Georgene Byrne Hoplock; a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Ruben Guerra of Eatontown; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dulce Hoplock of Tinton Falls; a brother and sister, Lawrence E. Hoplock and Barbara Knecht, both of Edison; and four grandchildren. Arrangements were by Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch.
