“Street Chic,” the sixth annual Charity Fashion Show to benefit Camp Oakhurst of Ocean Township, will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at Monmouth University’s Wilson Hall. The Choraliers of Eatontown will hold open rehearsals at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 and Feb. 8 at Woodmere School, Raleigh Court, Eatontown. The Choraliers perform show tunes and popular music in four-part harmony. The spring concert in June will feature music of the ’50s and ’60s. All voice parts are needed. “Conversations: Abraham & Mary Todd Lincoln” will take place at 2 p.m. on Feb. 6 at Long Branch Public Library, 328 Broadway. The former president and first lady will visit for a chat before departing for Ford’s Theater. The discussion will focus on their love for each other, their children and other topics; and they will also answer questions. The event is free. A book sale will take place from Feb. 8-28 during regular hours at Eatontown Public Library, 33 Broad St. The sale will feature more than 3,000 items such as new and used books, DVDs, CDs and magazines. For more information, call the library at 732-389-2665.

The Seashore School in Long Branch, has launched “Hearts for Haiti,” a fundraiser throughout the month of February to benefit Doctors Without Borders. Hearts are being sold for a dollar, which are then decorated and displayed in the hallways. Call The Seashore School at 732-229-4398 if you would like to donate or buy a heart. Donations may also be brought to the campus at 410 Broadway in Long Branch.

The Children’s Entertainment Series out of the Eatontown Playhouse in the Tower Market Shopping Center on Route 35 north in Eatontown will hold auditions for youngsters ages 8-18 for the musical “Back to the Awesome ’80s” 4-7 p.m. Feb. 8. The production will be in March. Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a song and wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
