Mrs. Sternberg, 84, of the Wayside section of Ocean Township, died Dec. 28, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Louis Sternberg, in 1984. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Dennis and Randi Sternberg of Allenhurst; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dr. Mark Gershenbaum of Wayside; a sister, Myrna Goldstein of Livingston; and five grandchildren. A funeral service was at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
