Monmouth County Park System is offering a cross-country ski/snowshoe getaway March 12-14 to Stump Sprouts Cross-Country Ski Lodge and Center in southern Massachusetts. Registration is due by Jan. 7.

The trip departs at noon March 12 from Thompson Park, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown, and returns at approximately 7 p.m. March 14.

The ski center features 25 kilometers of trails from gently rolling, groomed loops to challenging back-country routes. Trip cost is $350, includes six meals, two nights lodging, equipment, transportation and leaders.
