Park system programs for Nov.
      The Monmouth County Park System, will present "Sit Thee Down, Chairs That Furnished Walnford" an exhibit Nov. 1-30 at Historic Walnford, Walnford Road, Upper Freehold. The exhibit will display a variety of chairs, both plain and fancy, that once furnished the Walnford estate throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.

Guild selling tickets for handmade quilt
      Rebecca's Reel Quilters Guild of Poricy Park, 345 Oak Hill Road, Middletown, will hold a handmade quilt raffle to benefit the park, with the drawing 8 p.m. Nov. 5 at Poricy Park. The quilt is designed, created and donated by the members of the Guild, and valued at $1,000. Raffle tickets are $1 each and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit Poricy.
