WLB residents urged to vote 'yes' on library issue
      Iwould like to address my West Long Branch constituents on the important decision facing them this November on whether their public library should become a branch of the Monmouth County Library system. There has been some misinformation out there in advance of the upcoming referendum and I would like to set the record straight.

L.B. city employees have 'Cadillac' compensation plans
      Long Branch taxpayers are being fleeced by the administration in city hall. Mayor Adam Schneider — who is supposed to protect us — instead permits his top employees to have "Cadillac" compensation plans that no one in the private sector can even dream of.

Officer's over-the-top compensation is unjustified
      How interesting it is that Ronald Mehlhorn, Long Branch's financial officer, is pulling in $301,000 this year — I almost don't blame him. Although I think that possibly he is playing the system — and knows it. Who I do blame, however, is Mayor Adam Schneider. On what planet does Mayor Schneider think he can justify such an outrageous payout?
