Mary Murphy Ralph

Mrs. Ralph, 85, of the River Plaza section of Red Bank, died Sept. 29, 2009, at her son's home in Eatontown. She was a private secretary to the commanding general at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, from 1941 to 1949. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer W. Ralph, in 1990; and two sisters, Kathleen Murphy Derby and Elizabeth Bessie Murphy. She is survived three sons and two daughters-in-law, Daniel E. Ralph of Eatontown, William L. Ralph and Ann Robinson of Colts Neck, and Michael A. Ralph and Patti Travis of Shrewsbury; and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
