Asbury United Methodist Church, 61 AtlanticAve., North Long Branch, will hold its third annual Harvest Dinner & Gift Auction 6-10 p.m. Sept. 26 at West Long Branch Community Center, 11 N. Locust Ave. The event will feature a buffet, a DJ, 50/50, and gift auction with various gifts and gift certificates. Admission is $25. The St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Asbury Park Philoptochos Society will host its annual fall luncheon and fashion show, "Best of Times," 11:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Eagle Oaks Country Club, Farmingdale. The event will feature a musical fashion show by Journey Productions, lunch, Chinese auction, raffles and a bake sale. Donation is $50. Proceeds benefit the church's charitable works. The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Miriam, 180 Lincoln Ave., Elberon section of Long Branch, will accept drop-off donations for its fall rummage sale Nov. 2-6. The sale will be 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 8, and 9 a.m.-noon Nov 9. The sale will feature clothing, furniture, costume jewelry, children's items and other items. The sisterhood requests that clothing items be brought on hangers and shoes be bound together. Volunteers are urgently needed up for set-up, sales and break-down. Park Ave., Ocean, will hold its seventh annual "Pumpkin Patch and More" to benefit UNICEF from noon to 6 p.m. weekdays Oct. 1-31, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
