Mrs. Chiafullo, 97, of Long Branch, died July 20, 2009, at home. She was a seamstress for several years in clothing factories in Asbury Park and Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick, in 1980; and 12 siblings. He was chief pharmacist at Patterson Army Hospital, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for 28 years, following four years of service as the Fort Hancock pharmacist. He was employed as an auditor, and later section supervisor at the State of New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, retiring after 25 years of service.
