It's very telling about a political machine glutted with power when you see a headline that city hall is raising taxes again in Long Branch, and the mayor's name is nowhere within the article, yet it's the mayor's budget. Very slick. We must be ignorant and senseless when Mayor Adam Schneider's chief financial officer talks about taxes and the budget endlessly to reporters, but they are unable to get a single comment from the mayor.

This is the "boss" that makes the city budget and who gives the orders and who raises our taxes every year. To my mind, the only way to stabilize taxes in Long Branch is to remove all politicians who are unable to assume public responsibility for their actions.
