The Friends of the Ocean Township Library will hold its annual book sale July 16- 18 and Aug. 13-15 during library hours. The sale will feature gently used and nearly new books. Ruth Hyman Jewish Community Center (JCC), 100 Grant Ave., Deal, will host a New Jersey Devils event 10 a.m.-noon July 28. Approximately 400 JCC day campers will meet a New Jersey Devils player and the team mascot during a special pep rally. The player will sign autographs and speak about his career as a professional hockey player. He will also hold a mini tournament and hockey scrimmage for campers in grades one through nine.
