Thomas Wray Blair
Mr. Blair, 95, of Burlington, died June 25, 2009, at the Masonic Home, Burlington. He resided in Eatontown and Fair Haven prior to relocating to Burlington. He was employed at Federal Telephone and Radio Company, Clifton, until he was called back to active duty in the U.S. Army in 1951. Following his service, he was employed at Signal Corps Engineering Laboratories, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, retiring in 1970. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a colonel in 1973. He was a former councilman of Eatontown from 1978-82. He was predeceased by two brothers William R. Blair Jr. and Charles L. Blair; and his wife, Lucile Harding Blair. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia W. Blair; four nieces; three nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service was at St. James Memorial Episcopal Church, Eatontown. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown.
