Tours, screenings at medical center

Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch, will offer pre-operative tours of Cranmer Ambulatory Surgery Center 3-4 p.m. July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. The free tours are for pediatric patients having a surgical procedure at the center. To register, call 732-923-6525.

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure "Reach Out for Life" breast screening mammogram initiative will be 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. July 8 and 22. The initiative is open to female county residents age 40 and older who are uninsured or under-insured and meet income eligibility requirements for free mammograms. Free blood pressure screenings will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and cholesterol screenings 11 a.m.-2 p.m., both July 22. The cholesterol screenings are limited to 40 individuals.
