Nowadays, if you look north (e.g., from the Rumson bridge) toward the Highlands bridge construction, there's what I think is a pretty interesting view of parts of the new bridge rising over the old one. Since both bridges have their advocates, why don't we just leave them both there? Would that be about as win-win as a situation can get?
