June programs at Monmouth Medical

LONG BRANCH — Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., will host the New Emotions support group for moms-to-be and new moms 11 a.m. to noon June 1. To register, call Patricia at 732-363-5400, ext. 22.

Preoperative tours for patients who will be having a surgical procedure at Cranmer Ambulatory Surgery Center will be held 3-4 p.m. June 4, 11, 18 and 25. Registration is required by the Tuesday before the tour, and may be done by calling 732-923-6525.

The Susan G. Komen "Reach Out for Life" initiative will be held 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 10 and 24. The free breast cancer screening effort is for Monmouth County females age 40 or older who are uninsured or under-insured and meet income eligibility requirements. A baby fair will be held 7-9 p.m. June 11. The free fair will feature a tour of the Eisenberg Family Center, information from health care professionals, free gifts, and refreshments. To register, call 888-724-7123 and choose prompt 1.

The New Babies, New Emotions support group in Spanish will meet 3-4 p.m. June 12. The group is for Spanish-speaking mothersto be or new mothers with any kind of postpartum related depression. DermaView skin scans will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 24. The screenings are free, but are not skin cancer screenings. A tour of the Eisenberg Family Center will be held at 1:30 p.m. June 28. To register, call 732-923-6990.
