Mr. DeLuca, 54, of Long Branch, died April 10, 2009, at St. Barnabas and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a musician and a music teacher for the Manchester Township and Union Township school systems, the past 25 years. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nicole, in 1987. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan Barrett De Luca; a son, Anton P. DeLuca, Long Branch; and a brother, Edward DeLuca, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment was at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
