      It may seem a bit insensitive to be talking about saving land when our economy is in such dire straits, but the issue is very important in both good times and in bad.       Our health care system is broken. Too many Americans are just one major illness or injury away from financial ruin. Our financial security system is also in peril. Traditional pension plans are disappearing, people find it difficult to save and Social Security needs to be strengthened for future generations.
