Mr. Travisano, 97, of Eatontown, died March 2, 2009, at Jersey Shore Care Center, Eatontown. He was employed at Bell Telephone for 30 years, retiring in 1976, and was a member of the Bell- Tel Retirees. Prior to that, he was employed at GE for 10 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen Eller Christian Travisano; a daughter, Cheryl Christian Loyer; and five sisters. He is survived by a son, Robert Christian of Verona; a daughter, Kathleen Christian of Spring Lake; two sisters, Elizabeth Roas and Eleanor Pecoraro; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Entombment was at St Catharine's Mausoleum, Wall. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
