Mrs. Chesson, 58, of Ocean, died Jan. 17, 2009, following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was employed at the business office at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, for 35 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael; her father, Salvatore Mellaci; and a brother, Anthony V. Mellaci. She is survived by her mother, Anita Mellaci; a daughter and sonin law, Angela Guillory and Milton Tirado; a son, Jesse Chesson; three sisters and brothersin law, Ausilia and John Marra, Sandi and John Kane, and Rose and Robert Van Brunt; a brother, Luigi Mellaci; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at First Assembly of God Church, Shrewsbury. Burial was at Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
