Team in Training info sessions to be held
      The Southern New Jersey/Shore Region Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is seeking participants of all fitness levels for its summer Team In Training season and has scheduled information meetings at Road Runner Sports, 490 Broad St., Shrewsbury, (7 p.m. Jan. 22) and The Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St., Toms River, (7 p.m. Jan. 28).

Competitors sought for SJV cheering event
      St. John Vianney Regional High School (SJV) will hold its 10th annual cheerleading competition Feb. 22 at the school gymnasium at 540A Line Road, Holmdel. Cheerleading and dance teams from elementary schools, high schools, recreation and all-star groups are invited to attend. Spring floor and professional judges will be used. Vendors are also welcome.

      Navy Reserve Seaman Recruit Dimitri J. Traylor, has completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. A 2004 graduate of Edward Bok Technical High School of Philadelphia, Pa., he is the son of Agnes M. Allen of Eatontown.
