Mrs. McKay, 75, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She resided in Long Branch and Atlantic Highlands, prior to relocating to Port Monmouth, 53 years ago. She was a cafeteria worker at Thorne School, Middletown, for several years. She was predeceased by her husband, John McKay; a son John McKay Jr.; a great-grandson Shamus; five sisters; and a brother. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann McKay of Port Monmouth, and Patricia and Lester Sak of Keansburg; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James and Annette McKay, and Robert McKay, all of Port Monmouth; two sisters Della Gray of Woodbine, and Delores Mooney of Sebring, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. Entombment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
