      New Jersey Repertory Company, 179 Broadway, Long Branch, will hold a VIP showing of the musical comedy "Cupid and Psyche" at 8 p.m. Dec. 31, with showtime at 8:30 p.m. There will be wine, appetizers, a catered buffet, party favors and champagne toast at midnight. The cost is $100 for member subscriber of New Jersey Repertory Company and $125 for all others.

County Genealogy Society to meet Jan. 11
      The Monmouth County Genealogy Society will hold its next meeting Jan. 11 at Eatontown Community/Senior Center, 72 Broad St. The Society will award prizes to the winners of the student essay contest at 1 p.m., hold its meeting at 1:30 p.m., and give a presentation at 2 p.m.

Hospice volunteer training begins Jan. 16
      Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center (SBHPCC) will host 15-hour training programs for individuals interested in becoming a hospice volunteer. Training will be 6:30-9 p.m. Jan. 16 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Other dates will be Jan. 23 and 30, and Feb. 6, 13 and 27 (no class Feb. 20).

Alzheimer's caregiver support meetings slated
      The Alzheimer's Association will hold a caregiver support group meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Kensington Court, 864 Shrewsbury Ave., Tinton Falls. Other meetings will be 7 p.m. Jan. 20 at Bayshore Hospital, 727 North Beers St., Holmdel; and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Sunrise Assisted Living, 743 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.
