The Arc of Monmouth honors mentors
The Arc of Monmouth celebrated its mentors during National Disability Mentor Day in late October.
Honored were Charles Kawas, Eatontown Department of Public works; Albert Westpy, The Arc's Red Bank thrift shop; Kelly Corcoran, Seabrook, Tinton Falls; Billy Yanko, Whole Foods, Middletown; and Pedro Rosales, Gold's Gym, Howell.
The individuals serve The Arc's employment department, work alongside the people The Arc of Monmouth serves, and share their experience and expertise. Employment services is a program offered by The Arc, and its team of professionals assist individuals with developmental disabilities in finding a job reflective of the individual's skills, abilities, and talents.
