WRAT Nutcracker to feature Shinedown

Greater Media radio station WRAT-FM 95.9 is presenting its traditional WRAT Nutcracker with Shinedown and special guests Halestorm 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Starland Ballroom, Sayreville.

Jacksonville, Fla., natives Shinedown are known for such hits as "Fly from the Inside," "45" and "Save Me." Two songs, "Devour" and "Second Chance," from the band's latest album, "The Sound of Madness," are two of this year's biggest hits at mainstream rock radio.

Pennsylvania rockers Halestorm, led by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, are a young rock band with no member older than 23. All, however, are natives of the national touring stage.
