Police investigate threats at H.S.
      OCEAN TOWNSHIP — Police received a call from a concerned parent in reference to a disturbing message that was received via text message on a student's cell phone. On Nov. 20 at approximately 10:41 p.m., police received a report about a text message that indicated that a possible shooting may take place at the high school on Nov. 21, according to police reports.

Terner House Gallery to hold exhibit Dec. 14-Jan. 15
      OCEAN TOWNSHIP — The Cultural Committee's January art exhibit will be featuring the work of Phyllis Unger, of West Allenhurst. The exhibit "Fabric on the Wall, Quilts and Silks, Painted and Stitched," will be featured at the Terner House Gallery located adjacent to the Ocean Township Library on Dec. 14. The exhibit will run until Jan. 15.

Applications taken for advocate training
      180 Turning Lives Around, Hazlet, is accepting applications for its sexual violence advocate training Saturdays Jan. 17-March 7 at Little Silver Women's Club, Rumson Road and Church Street. Training provides volunteers with tools necessary to advocate for survivors of sexual violence.
