David McAulay
      Mr. McAulay, 78, of Highlands, and formerly Rumson, died Oct. 31, 2008, following a battle with cancer. He was a U.S. Merchant Marine from 1951-88, and member of the Master Mates & Pilots Union. Following retirement, he was employed at Interport Pilots, Port Monmouth section of Middletown. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Amelia in 2004; and a brother, Bruce.

      Mrs. Notabartolo, 90, of the Wayside section of Ocean Township, died Nov. 8, 2008, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She resided in Neptune, prior to relocating to Wayside in 1991. She was predeceased by her husband, Augustine in 1990.

      Mr. Ferrigno, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Nov. 9, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Gladys Newman Jowers
      Mrs. Jowers, 77, died Nov. 15, 2008, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. She was a retired employee of Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. She was predeceased by her husband, Theron Jowers; two sisters, Lillie Mae Newman and Francis Newman-Crudup; and four brothers, John Newman, Grayland Newman, Donald Newman and Alvin Newman.
