      Community thanked for attending meeting

We would like to thank everyone who attended the public meeting at the Eatontown Borough Hall building Oct. 15 to discuss the affordable housing laws that will directly affect Eatontown. The fact that more than 100 residents were in attendance helps to illustrate the widespread opposition to these disastrous rules. The tremendous turnout also reinforces our resolve to overturn the regulations that will require over 500 affordable housing units to be constructed in Eatontown.

We were pleased to have had the opportunity to listen to the concerns of Eatontown residents regarding this issue. Please rest assured that we will continue to fight the COAH rules that will surely overcrowd our schools, roadways and add to our overwhelming tax burden.

We encourage the public to send letters in opposition on these policies to your legislative leaders and Gov. Jon Corzine. For sample letters, addresses, and additional information, please visit our Web site at www.njshoreteam.com. Hopefully, with your help we will be successful in preventing the implementation of these COAH rules that will negatively impact our quality of life and significantly increase taxes.

As always, please feel free to contact us at 732-974-0400 if we can ever be of assistance with this or any other matter.
