Flu vaccine clinic Nov. 1 in Long Branch
      Long Branch Health Department and Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central Jersey will hold a flu immunization clinic 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 1 at Long Branch Middle School, 350 Indiana Ave. Vaccines will be available for residents ages 18 and older, and will be administered free to Medicare recipients with part b coverage.

      Monmouth University, West Long Branch, will hold "Homecoming 2008 - Celebrating 75 Years," Oct. 25 The alumni hospitality tent will be open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and feature a 50/50, old yearbooks for sale, and free refreshments. There will also be reunions and tailgate parties (age 21 and older to consume alcohol). An MBA alumni barbecue will begin at 11 a.m.

      Monmouth County Regional Health Commission No. 1 has announced its flu/pneumonia vaccine clinics for 2008. A clinic will be held 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 29 at West Long Branch Community Senior Center, Locust Street.
