The Historical Society of Ocean Grove will hold its fourth annual October Antiques and Collectibles Show 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 11 at Ocean Grove Youth Temple, Auditorium Square Park. The show will feature 28 dealers offering items such as vintage clothing, Depression glass, dolls, artwork, vintage jewelry, kitchenware and quilts. Various foods will be available for purchase also. The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church will hold a clothing drive 1-6 p.m. Oct. 11, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 12. The drive will be at the family room at the church at 240 Broad St., Eatontown. Needed are hats, shoes, clothing, bedding, handbags, towels, stuffed animals and other items. The Garden Club R.F.D. will meet 11 a.m. Oct. 11 at The Little Red Schoolhouse, Dwight and Middletown Lincroft Roads, Middletown. Horse-drawn carriage rides through Ocean Grove will be offered weekends through next summer beginning at the Great Auditorium. Also, the lodge will host a benefit cocktail party at 4 p.m. Oct. 26 for Lila Rose Mincieli-Krotick, a baby born in May who was diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy in Boston. The Elks are trying to help defray the family's expenses and pressures associated with the treatments. The cost is $25 per person and includes a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, music, raffles and door prizes.
