      Last Gear and Above the Limit Motorcycle Clubs will host a Dyno Shootout 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at Sun Cycles, 187 Route 71, Manasquan (rain date Oct. 5). Funds raised will go toward a motorcycle run from Ocean to Monmouth counties to benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Eatontown.

Park System to offer bike trips, hikes
      The Monmouth County Park System will offer a 16-mile Rails to Trails biking trip Oct. 4 along the Sussex Branch Rail Trail in northwest New Jersey. The bus departs at 8 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m. (approximate). Cyclists will follow easy, flat, dirt gravel and some single track trails and, will also bicycle through Kittatinny Valley State Park.
