Mrs. Stapleton, 89, of Long Branch, died Aug. 1, 2008, at home. Born in Red Bank, she resided in Long Branch most of her life. She was a retired office manager at Lily Tulip, Holmdel. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Van Note; and three sisters, Evelyn Mason, Louise Byram and Grace Abjornson. She is survived by two daughters and one sonin law, Eileen and Donald Henry of Long Branch, and Judith Eddings of Cocoa, Fla.; a sister, Helen Brown of Texas; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat grandchildren. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
