      Teacher gives tips to prepare child for kindergarten
            After 35 years of teaching kindergarten, I've seen a lot of first days of school, but there are some things that never change. Although this is an exciting time for parents and children, it also can be emotional. Speaking as both a teacher and a parent, I know the transition to kindergarten can bring on many anxious moments.

      Court decision is a victory for citizens of Long Branch
            We would like to thank the judges for their insight and fairness in the many decisions that have been handed down since the N.J. Supreme Court's unanimous decision in Gallenthin v. Paulsboro regarding eminent domain abuse and the property rights of the citizens of New Jersey.

      Fort wouldn't be closing if a Democrat were in office
            Germane to the front-page article on the Aug. 7 edition of the Atlanticville titled "Boro resident calls fort reuse plan a pipe dream," I think first we need to look at the big picture in order to gain understanding as to why Fort Monmouth will be closing its gates in approximately two years. The reason being George W. Bush signed the execution order.
