Mrs. Chamberlain, 92, of North Andover, Mass., and formerly Rumson, and Tequesta, Fla., died June 14, 2008, at Edgewood Retirement Community, North Andover. She was a retired employee of Esquire Magazine, New York City. During the 1960s, she was also involved with Children's Psychiatric Center, Eatontown. She was predeceased by her husband, Melville P. Chamberlain Jr., in 1986; and two sisters, Marcie Hanning and Alicia Hamburg. She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Harvey Stewart of Long Branch; Peggy and Charles, and Jill Chamberlain and Joe McLaughlin, all of Marblehead, Mass.; Judy Chamberlain and Christopher Wong of Coconut Grove, Fla.; and Barbara and Patrick McGowan of Beverly, Mass.; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Yvonne Mulroy of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in late July at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. Arrangements are by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
