Foundation to hold Kids Activities Day July 26
      The nonprofit All Neighbors Foundation, Long Branch, will present Kids Activities Day from noon-5 p.m. July 26 at Jerry Morgan Park, Liberty Street, Long Branch. Register now for Monmouth Conservatory's camps
      The nonprofit Monmouth Conservatory of Music, 50 White St., Red Bank, is taking registration for its summer music programs that begin July 14. Music camp for age 6-8 includes chorus, keyboard and other musical activities. Tuition is $250 per week. Strings camp is for beginning and intermediate players with at least one-year experience. Chorus experience is included.

      Prevention First, Ocean Township, will host the eighth annual ChessFest Sept. 27 in Asbury Park. The event will benefit the approximately 14,000 youth and adult participants worldwide. It is also geared to set a new Guinness record for the most chess games played simultaneously in one location. The festival attracts several of the world's finest chess players.

Monmouth University computer camps offered
      Monmouth University, West Long Branch, has announced it will offer two sessions of summer computer camp for students directed by Shauna L. Schubiger. A camp for students age 14-17 interested in learning how to make a Web site or a movie using a digital video camera will be July 14-18 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost is $630 and includes lunch.
