Blood drive set at JSUMC July 11
      Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC) in conjunction with Central Jersey Blood Center will hold a blood drive 7 a.m.-6 p.m. July 11 at Lance Auditorium at the medical center, 1945 Route 33, Neptune. Donations are needed because New Jersey is facing a chronic blood shortage.

Register now for Monmouth Conservatory's camps
      The nonprofit Monmouth Conservatory of Music, 50 White St., Red Bank, is taking registration for its summer music programs that begin July 14. Music camp for age 6-8 includes chorus, keyboard and other musical activities. Tuition is $250 per week. Strings camp is for beginning and intermediate players with at least one-year experience. Chorus experience is included.

Wells retires after 32-year career at Gateway Area
      Richard Wells, superintendent at the Sandy Hook Unit of the Gateway National Recreation Area, has retired after a 32- year career with the National Park Service (NPS). He began his career at the Denver Service Center, working on projects such as local projects at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island.

      Monmouth University (MU), West Long Branch, will host a Jewish culture program focused on dialogue and celebration of Jewish culture June 22-25. The event is free and open to the public. Jewish and Palestinian teens Mahmoud Watad and Leonard Grob will discuss the book they co-authored, "Teen Voices from the Holy Land, Who Am I to You?," June 23.

      TheAll Neighbors Foundation (ANF) is scheduled to host A Touch of Class Day 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 26 at Jerry Morgan Park on Liberty Street.
