Public wants answers about mayor's real estate deal
      On May 27, a group of residents from Long Branch presented a number of pointed ethical questions to Mayor Adam Schneider and the City Council, looking for simple answers. The mayor was asked about his involvement in a $2.4 million real estate deal transacted in February 2007, and financed by Central Jersey Bank.

State will be desert town without Fort Monmouth
      It is a shame that they are letting Fort Monmouth go. It is unfair to make New Jersey suffer with all the people that need the fort. A lot of retired military are living in Monmouth County that need medical, commissary, craft center and other services offered by Fort Monmouth. Lots of men need the job they have, and they don't want to leave their families and homes.
