      The Monmouth County Park System and the Garden State Daylily Growers will present Daylily Day June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deep Cut Gardens, 352 RedHill Road, Middletown. Early cultivars will be displayed, and bare-root and potted daylilies will be for sale at the free event. There will also be cultural advice, handouts and catalogs.

      The men's task force of 180 Turning Lives Around, Hazlet, is selling greeting cards as a way to recognize dads on Father's Day and to raise funds for combating domestic violence and sexual abuse. Graphic artists were invited to design the $5 cards.
