Mrs. Mercuro, 78, of Monmouth Beach, died May 7, 2008, at home. She was a bookkeeper for New Jersey Poultry, Newark. Prior to that, she was employed in accounting at New Jersey Bell, Newark. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Mercuro in 2003; and a brother, Frank. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment was at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
