      The Regency Alliance on Senior Care, Hazlet, is sponsoring a poster contest for Monmouth County students in grades one through six, with entry deadline April 14. The theme is "My favorite memory of an older adult." Three winners will receive U.S. Savings Bonds from $50-$200 and will be invited to an award ceremony in May.

      Monmouth County Park System will offer free activities at Historic Longstreet Farm, Longstreet Road,Holmdel, beginning with a quilting demonstration April 5 from 1-3 p.m.Hand-sewn pieceswill be on display. 'Family Challenge Course' March 27 at county park
      The Monmouth County Park System will host "Family Challenge Course" March 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thompson Park, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown. Participants will climb a tubular cargo net and walk 35 feet up in the air on a series of cables while clipped to a pulley system to access a zip line.
