      Parents can help during cruelest month
            T.S. Eliot famously called April the cruelest month, but if you're a New Jersey public school student - or their parent or teacher - you'll argue that March, as the start of the testing season, is the crueler month. Test-taking can be a stressful time for students: their routines are disrupted, the tests themselves are tedious, and the stakes can be high.

      Association urges crackdown on tobacco marketing
            Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States, killing more than 400,000 people and costing the nation nearly $100 billion in health-care bills each year. About 90 percent of adult smokers begin in their teens or earlier. Every day, another 1,000 kids become regular, daily smokers, and one-third of them will die prematurely as a result.

      Eminent domain decision restores faith
            Iwould like to personally thank all our New Jersey judges who have been rendering decisions on eminent domain abuse. Based on the N.J. Supreme Court Gallethin decision, the non-politically connected and the economically struggling are finally getting their property rights returned to them and an even playing field created.
