BBBS extends thanks to holiday supporters
As 2008 begins, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County (BBBSMC) would sincerely like to thank all who brightened the holidays for children in our program and their families.
The Mill at Spring Lake Heights hosted our annual holiday party, which was attended by 150 Big Brothers and Sisters with their "Littles," Kids' Club members, staff, parents and board members who came together to celebrate.
Each child received a gift, thanks to the generosity of parishioners of the Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven, and AT&T Pioneers. We had a wonderful group of volunteers as well who helped to make the party festive!
We also extend our thanks to Stacy Gemma of Stacy Gemma and SG2 at The Grove who partnered with BBBS in our adopt-a-family program. Starbucks of Howell, Middletown, Neptune, Oakhurst, Red Bank, Sea Girt and Shrewsbury also involved their customers in purchasing gifts for local families in need. In addition, Eatontown Pathmark, Neptune Early Childhood Center, United Way Snowflake Wishes, Young Professionals Group of Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and many kind individuals made generous donations of gifts and food that were distributed to 50 families this holiday season.
T
hanks to so much support from the
community, the children of BBBSMC had a wonderful holiday and hopes for a bright new year!
