Artists offer 'Two Visions'
An exhibition of works by local artists Santo Pezzutti and Tova Navarra opened this week at Monmouth University's 800 Gallery.
"Soul" by Tova Navarra "Two Visions" will run through Dec. 12. An opening reception will be held Friday 7-9 p.m. Prior to the reception, the artists will lecture 6-7 p.m. in Wilson Auditorium.
Pezzutti's career as a painter in oils and watercolors paralleled his professional role as executive art director of the Madison Avenue advertising agency Dancer, Fitzgerald and Sample. Now retired, he has exhibited widely and won numerous awards, including the New Jersey Water Color Society's top award.
Navarra is a professional artist/photographer from Middletown. She has had solo exhibitions in New York City, Philadelphia and Bay Head, and is the author of more than 25 books.
Hours at the 800 Gallery are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
