IAMA gift auction slated for Nov. 3
      The Italian American Memorial Association (IAMA), 195 West End Ave., Long Branch, will hold a gift auction Nov. 3 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Snacks and desserts will be available. Audubon walk, meeting slated during November
      The Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a walk Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. at Island Beach State Park. Island Beach contains examples of sand dunes, a thicket community, freshwater wetlands, maritime forest and tidal marshes. Birds found at the beach are peregrine falcons, wading birds, shorebirds, and the state's largest osprey colony, as well as more than 300 plants.
