      Saturday's SAT tests kept Monsignor Donovan and Red Bank Catholic from fielding their full squads for the first of many meetings this fall, the Shore Coaches Invitational at Holmdel Park. The two girls cross-country powers have been ranked in the Northeast Region throughout the season, with RBC currently at number seven.

      Alittle over a month into the season, both the Monmouth University men's and women's soccer teams appear poised to challenge for Northeast Conference championships. The defending champion men opened conference play on Saturday with a convincing 4-0 victory over Mount Saint Mary's on The Great Lawn.
