Obituaries Eleanor D. Vecchia Mrs. Vecchia, 88, of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, died Sept. 17, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Red Bank, she resided in Middletown prior to relocating to Oakhurst in 1972. She was a secretary at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, during WWII. She also held other various secretarial positions throughout her life. She was a parishioner at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was a former parishioner and sang in the choir at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alfred Augustus D. Vecchia; a son, Vincent Vecchia; two daughters, Mary Ann Vecchia and Ellie Cervellino; a son-in law, Anthony; and a granddaughter. Peter John Pebole Mr. Pebole, 79, of Monmouth Beach, died Sept. 25, 2007. Born in New York City, he resided in Staten Island, N.Y., prior to relocating to Monmouth Beach in 1993. He was a heating and air conditioning technician and operating engineer at New Jersey Bell, retiring in 1993. He was a communicant of Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. He was secretary treasurer of the local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member, president and treasurer of the Sandpipers of Monmouth Beach. He was predeceased by a sister, Raymonde Bialas. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynn Pebole Shell, and Denise Pebole Morgan and her husband Seldon; a son and daughter-in law, John and Lynn Pebole; eight grandchildren; and a greatgranddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Church of the Precious Blood. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Pfarrer Noland Mrs. Noland, 75, of Middletown, died Sept. 26, 2007, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Elizabeth, she resided there prior to relocating to Middletown in 1962. She was a teacher for the Middletown Board of Education at Lincroft Elementary School, Lincroft section of Middletown, and River Plaza elementary School, River Plaza section of Middletown, for 30 years, retiring in 1993. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Noland of Middletown; a daughter, Lois Egan of Long Branch; and four granddaughters. A funeral service was held at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Robert John Goodall Mr. Goodall, 63, of Ocean Township, died Sept. 25, 2007. Born in Geneva, N.Y., he relocating to Monmouth County in 1974. He was the owner of a bed and breakfast inn in Spring Lake. He was an artist and member of the Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury. He also enjoyed baking, landscaping, travel and decorating. He was predeceased by his father, John Goodall; and his father-in-law, Stewart Folts. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Louise Folts Goodall; two daughters and one son-inlaw, Nichole and Paul MacManus of Fair Haven, and Kerri Goodall of Eatontown; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Amanda Goodall of Maryland; his mother, Mabel Goodall of Geneva, N.Y.; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bob Hunt of Stanley, N.Y.; his mother-in-law, Elisabeth Folts of Geneseo, N.Y.; a grandson; and three nephews. A funeral service was held at First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank-Tower Hill. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. |
