      Everything or nothing before us
            Itoo reside in the bovine borough of beautiful Eatontown, and although my palatial abode does not abut the proposed property on which said convenient store (aka Wawa) is proposed; I too feel your pain. Quite frankly, the very thought of another behemoth leaves me agog. This type of establishment appears to attract the most motley looking collection of characters.

      Subject: Ocean & bay sewage slicks
            It is incomprehensible to me that the Bayshore area has to be concerned with improperly treated waste that is allowed to exit sewer plants as reported by the Monmouth County Health Department. Last week's rainfall caused "sludge cakes" or raw sewage, including syringes and tampons, to wash up on beaches in Middletown and Union Beach as reported by health officials.

      Borough should rebuild Peninsula House
            Here we go again, lack of insight and ability to lead is taking Sea Bright down that primrose path of failure and neglect one more time. The borough pursuing the purchase of Donovan's, as opposed to finding the remaining owners state funding for the purchase of development rights, is fiscally irresponsible.

      Existing businesses shut out of Broadway plan
            The Broadway Arts Plan scheduled to condemn properties through the excessive powers of eminent domain, the brainchild of the Katz and Siperstein families, violates the first law of economics. It will add to the supply of what there is already too much of in the state, and specifically Long Branch, without in fact doing anything to change the demand side of the equation.
